About Nonprofit Resource Center

Nonprofit Resource Center was founded in 1990 to provide training, consulting, and print and online resources addressing the unique financial and strategic management issues of not-for-profit organizations and associations. The resources provided by NRC include:

NRC's Online Resource Library
If you want to stay up to date on all the latest financial management information relevant to your organization, but don't have the time to wade through the thousands of pages of data being published each day, a subscription to NRC's Online Resource Library is the answer. Included in this service are libraries on nonprofit tax issues, federal grant administration and auditing, human resources laws and regulations, nonprofit accounting principles, board governance, and our popular monthly newsletter, The Tax-Exempt Organization Alert!®. Subscribers to our Online Resource Library also receive discounts on NRC's seminars and Model Accounting Policies. Click on the subscription information button for further details.

Public Seminars and Private Training Programs
Since 1990, NRC has become recognized as a provider of some of the most valuable and practical training on the unique accounting, tax, audit, internal control, and financial management issues applicable to nonprofit organizations. For a complete list of 2005 courses, click on the Seminars button. Any of these courses, as well as others, can also be customized and presented internally for your organization or firm — click Customized Private Training for details.

Model Accounting and Financial Policies and Procedures
NRC has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures on CD that can be customized to provide your organization with a complete accounting and financial policies and procedures manual that addresses all of the key issues faced by your organization. If you already have a policies manual, this tool can be used to update and enhance your manual. Click on the Model Accounting Policies button for a detailed description of this valuable product.

Anti-Fraud and Internal Audit Services
NRC is pleased to offer customized anti-fraud and internal services exclusively for nonprofit organizations. These services are tailored to the unique risks faced by nonprofit organizations. Click on the Anti-Fraud Services or Internal Audit Services button for details.
